There are 9 black soil scrapes with the natural gully of Capowie Creek crossing through the course.
All holes except the 334m slight dogleg right 1st from an elevated teebed are played on the eastern side of Capowie Creek.
The course is not maintained or even open from mid-September to April. Barely basic golf facilities here.
Quorn is a town of around 1100 people approximately 300m above sea level in the southern Flinders Ranges.
It is best to visit the Pichi Pichi Railway and other attractions than to play golf here. Closest grass green course is Port Augusta which 40km south-west of Quorn.
