Bush Hackers heaven. Lies are shocking but it gives the locals a chance to play close to home. Watch the roos they are everywhere.

Measures 2858m Par 36 with 2 Par 3s ranging 130-165m , 5 Par 4s ranging from 290-370m and two Par 5s ranging from 455-465m.
Terrible dirt fairways with patches of grass. There are no good lies out there. Not for the serious golfer, but ok for the traveller. Greens have overgrown weeds mowed down to resemble a green, but plays bumpy and slow. You might get a lucky bounce off a weed into the hole. Teebeds are mounds of dirt, like the fairways. Have you got the idea.
Played here 28/7/06 and paid $10 more green fees than I should. Located in arguably Queensland's highest town 920m above sea level, the course is nothing to write home about.

For $10, you can’t really expect too much from Ravenshoe Millstream Country Club. In the middle of the dry season the fairways are horrendous in areas and dead grass is your best possible lie. However the greens and surrounds are irrigated and weren’t too bad. They aren’t your resort standard but fairly consistent and playable. Although at this time of year the course wasn’t pleasing to the eye, the layout consisted a few doglegs and was a good challenge in the middle holes. After the wet season the par 72 5673m course would be much more playable but for $10 it’s not bad value and good for a relaxing hit if you are in the area.
