I was lucky enough to be a memeber a few years ago (have moved from the area since).
Course is normally in very good condition and greens are as good as you will find. The layout offers a bit of everything with some longer holes allowing long hitters the chance to take them on if they are game.
Its a pleasnt walk without being to taxing on the legs however there is enough so that its not a flat course.
would recommend to anyone

A very challenging Par 70 course that requires accuracy off the tees. Slick well manicured greens are as expected on this top quality "Sand Belt"course

I played Riverside in January 2011 and it is a decent course.
Green fees were excessive, given the fact that the greens had just been cored and a couple of holes were out of play due to a much needed course development project. If one is not able to play the full course as intended why should they pay the full fee?
Fairways were in decent condition, if a little uneven in places. The new holes, particularly the 17th hole, appear good in isolation but the obvious man made undulation of the fairways seems inconsistent with the look and feel of the rest of the course.
Not as tight off the tee as it looks, and there is good bunkering protecting most greens.
Facilities are very good and the clubhouse has excellent floor to ceiling views overlooking the golf course. It would be a great venue for a function or wedding.
Unfortunately Members were snobbish(one outright rude) and they seem to have an inflated opinion of their club and its standing in Adelaide’s golf scene. This is not a patch on the real sandbelt courses in the area.
Worth a visit and I’ll be monitoring future course developments, but members need a reality check.
