This is a great practice course. It is very well maintained. Greens are small and require accuracy. I’ll be back.

PROS

  • very well maintained fairways

Cons

  • Can be a little short (but great for practising your irons)

Short Course 7 par 3s, 3 pars 4s, no hole past 270m. Course in great nick, but is built to work on your short game. Playing today and will get at least 1 par. Had a mate who pared the 10 holes with 33. In great nick. $15 for $10 holes

PROS

  • Great nick new for a short course. Good practice for short approaches.
  • Greens in solid condition
  • Friendly staff

Cons

  • No need for the driver. Only 2 holes where you even need your 3 wood.
  • Short course

great little course nice and cheap and a challenging course for its size, only problem is the greens had just been sanded so they were very difficult

Played here on the weekend 3/10/09

Thought we’d give it a go as it appeared to have some very bad reviews.Course is in surprisingly good condition considering the lack of rain.
All fairways & greens were in reasonable nick, they are still doing major work to the course, some of the tee boxes were a little poor.
They hope to have the course & club house finished in the near future, there will be nearly a new course by the time they’ve finished.
Took the missus, who has just recovered from open heart surgery & can’t walk a normal course, plus she’s just starting to play.
She had a ball, easy walking & encouraging course layout.
I’ll be returning.

Little gem of a course, well maintained fairways and greens, good pricing on 9 holes there are 5 par 4’s and 4 par 3’s will be returning for sure! haha I’ve never heard so many cries of four in my life thought it was hilarious yeeeeow

I play this course often as it’s close to home, reasonably priced and can be done in an hour most times. There is a fair bit of constuction going on around the course so it is fairly untidy at the moment.

It’s nearly alway’s in good nick the greens are usually good and true, the fairways are spot on and the rough isn’t really very taxing.

The layout is really good for a nine hole course. It’s mostly par 3’s though there are three par 4’s now that the last has been extended making it 270m giving you the chance to have a hit with the driver.

For what it is and comparable to 3 1/2 – 4 stars

good little par3 course with the odd short par4. when entering the carpark, it all looks a bit dodgy, with the demountable club house and construction machinery coming into view; but once out on the course this view changes, the fairways are nice and green, and the greens are pretty well kept as well. The course is never really busy, even on weekends which means a round of nine holes with a couple of mates can be completed in just over an hour. the only problems encountered on the course were a few boggy walkways and a flag missing on the par3 3rd hole?? overall a very affordable little course which is pretty good condition

This is a well maintained, public course that can be challenging. Driver not required! Worth a look.

As a beginner, I found One Mile to be a fantastic Course to play at. While still challenging, there was a certain amount of feel to the course that enabled a beginner to learn a few things.

Small challenges like the water hazards on the 5th & 8th and the funny creek thing on the 4th are a good way to teach someone how to hit straight and accurate, mind you, that dam still owes me about 6 balls.

The weekday specials is also a great inexpensive way for a beginner like me to play more and learn without breaking the bank...

What can I say, for a 9 hole course it's great, a little bit of a challenge for a beginner, nice views, friendly staff, affordable, and close to home. Overall a nice course, but the 9th will always haunt me. hahaha

Having played at this course twice, I definitely think it worthy of regular visits. It is well maintained and tiny, so it really does test the short game. My only advice is to bring something to move the duck poo from the greens, which is a real problem on some. Makes putting very difficult! But yes, four stars!

Measuring 1775m Par 32, this is the best 9-hole course in the northern Brisbane metro area. Not at all long, but tests the short game well. Played here on 20/2/06 and paid $11 for 9 holes on this very well maintained course. Most holes are straight and need accuracy off the tee, apart from the 5th 199m Par 4, which bends to the left a touch. The shortest hole is probably the most picturesque, with a 97m carry over water to the pin. A very nice hour spent!

I play this course pretty regularly (every 2months or so). It is 1 of my favourites in the Northern Suburbs of Brisbane. It isn't long so the driver is not needed but what it lacks in length it makes up for in shot selection. The par 3s are definitely harder then the 4s. All in all I love this little course. It is perfect if you have a hour spare...

A lovely, short 9 hole course. Leave the driver at home, you won't need it, unless you're a really short hitter or you want to attack some of the slightly longer par 4's. The greens and fairways are generally superb and are some of the best in the area. This is a good course to play if you like to see birdies and pars on your scorecard, for if you are mid-low single figure handicapper, you should shoot around par or better. The par 3's are probably the most challenging aspect of this course. Overall, a very enjoyable little course.
(5 par 4's -255m av.)
(4 par 3's -125m av.)
