Seymour has a great layout and has alright fairways but yet again because of the drought the greens has let down the course but all in all it isnt bad.

The first nine holes are on undulating hills and have a rocky soil. ( local rule alows a drop if stones are likely to damage your clubs). The greens are VW greens ie small and with a steep drop off. This just creates a greater challenge as the grass quality is excellent and the tree lined fairways picturesque. The back nine has a complete change, wider flater fairways, larger greens and no rocks, but still has the big gum trees, kangaroos and birds to make it enjoyable for more than just the final score. Compared to the Melbourne sand belt courses or the Murray courses it would be a one star, but compared to other dry country courses probably a 3 1/2 .
