I was a member at Springsure Golf Course from 1996 to 1999, so let me tell you; bring your clubs and play on a course I think has the BEST greens in Australia. Now, that might be a bit of a biased call, but it is by far the most friendliest golf clubs I have ever come across. A couple of years before I got to town the greens were sand, and in two years a club member by the name of Peter Cahill and others helpers turned the sand into the best greens ever. It is a magnificent course, nine holes, some dual tees, some split tees. The clubhouse is open on Wednesday afternoons for a nine hole comp., and Saturdays and Sundays as well. Green fees are more than reasonable and the members are the greatest. Whatever you do, and you love golf, play at least one round in your life at Springsure.
