Tarraleah is an old hydro town where a person / company (a developer I guess) has bought the entire town and is doing it up as a 'getaway luxury village' kind of thing. The course is maintained by locals and is in excellent shape. Good even cover of grass on tees and fairways and the greens are OK. Some moss as the base for the greens, and it's not always even but is better than a lot of other Tassie 9-holers.
$10 in the honesty box, clean air, large stands of native forest surrounding the holes and not another player in sight - basic golf but excellent.
Course is Par 69 (34-35), ACR 67.2 and is 9-holes but with 18 tees offering some differences for the second time around.
