Thaxted is a great course in the foot hills. It has 18 holes that are all very challenging. The fairways are predominately santa anna couch with bent greens. The course is fully watered with some of the best greens around that are always fast and tricky. With full bar and kitchen facilites, as well as a pro shop Thaxted really is a great place to play golf.
