Look it is a course in the middle of no where with no rain. Great hosplitality - course is rough- what do you expect?

Have played here many a time, after the recent rain, the course has improved considerably. Great feature of the course is the abundance of wildlife, docile Kangeroos and native birds make it even more appealing.. For volunteer green keepers the course is in very good condition. The people at the 19th hole are very friendly. The manager Tassie and his sidekick Weisy are two characters that will make your experience enjoyable and interesting.

When home is a little mining town in the middle of the drought stricken Central Highlands it is very tempting to over-rate the golf course. Unfortunately honesty must prevail.

Pluses - friendly people, (naturally), steady greens (usually), affordable (very)

Minuses - nine holes (naturally) dry fairways (usually) hot (very).

Should it ever rain again, the course would jump a rating point or two but currently it is my lower benchmark.

Oh well, we don't get many visitors anyway.

The Relic
