once there was a golf course and now there is a proposed housing estate.

I first played this track with my father some 5-6 years ago when I should have been at work.

It was different because of many reasons.Ah the memories!

Tilleydale is a public access 9 hole course located at Gumdale in Brisbane.

It is a rare find for a number of reasons.

Firstly the green fees are reasonable )about $10). Secondly the couse contains two of the best par threes around Brisbane (7th and 8th). Finally the putting surfaces are TRUE - if you can putt you will make putts on this course.

The only dissappointment I have with Tilleydale is that they mow the rough and there is no real penalty for missing a fairway.

Par 32 consisting of 5 par threes, 3 par fours and 1 par five.
