Want a weekend with the lot that will leave your wife and kids happy as well. Well this is a magic find in the middle of nowhere. The course is only 9holes but is well maintained and there are double tees for most holes to give you an honest 18 hole challenge. The layout is creative and demanding - if you stray you will definitely lose your ball in the rough or the water or even the mighty Murray. Dare I say it but this is a course that the ladies will excel at if they play tight and straight.

If you hit straight all the par 3s are birdie-able and several of the par four greens are reachable in two, but woe betide an errant shot unless you are a platypus. We stayed in the adjacent motel and they had a fantastic deal on golf, breakfast, and meal in the nearby club. The motel also has a great bbq on the balcony directly overlooking the first hole and the Murray River. This is not a Murray River resort course or even a great one, but if you want a weekend away from the smoke, a really fun and challenging game, and a venue where you can eat and drink and have a bloody good time for the whole family for less than $120 a day, then Tooleybuc is definitely the place for you. My best weekend away for ages.

Last time I played I think it was $7 for 9 holes payed to the honor box.

It is 9 holes but has 18 tees.

Very short but if you like Murray Downs you will like this.

The 2nd is a short par4 which is drivable across a lake about 230m carry great little hole.

The 4th is a moderate par5 with water drivable through the fairway from the tee which requires a little fade to find the fairway.

There is water all down the left to the green which has many breaks in it and 3 putts are easy.

Well worth a look and I would play it anytime.
