Course has 18 black soil greens and is fairly open with sparse short tree-lined fairway layout with no bunkers. There are a few slight doglegs otherwise most holes are straight with the black soil greens visible from the tee mound.
Course is not as well-kept as Narromine’s 18 black soil green course. There is the local rule of preferred lies through the green up to 30cm, however, I feel you would need much more than that as there are large red dirt patches across the fairways.
Trangie is a small town with around 900 people at approximately 220m above sea level and is 35km north-west of Narromine and 75km from Dubbo along the Mitchell Highway.
The course can be found taking Dandaloo Street from town then taking a left into Links Road. The course is 1km west of the Mitchell Highway/Dandaloo Street intersection. Fees are $2.
