This is a 9 hole course with two sets of tees to make it interesting to play.

It is a reasonable layout, with reasonable sized greens. The greens were quite uneven in their grass cover, with a few having burnt off areas. They rolled OK, but were a little inconsistent in speed.

The fairways had a good covering of grass to give you a good lie to hit from. There is a creek (dry at the moment) running through several holes and a lake guarding the 7th/16th green.

We played on Friday and had the course to ourselves. The green fees of $15 are very reasonable. Certainly worth a game and enjoyable. The clubhouse isn’t open during the week, so an honesty system applies.

I felt this was the most boring course that we played during a ten day holiday from china. Fairways just straight up and down no real hazards, few bunkers. Generally an very uninteresting course. There are some real gems of nine hole courses in this region, sadly I didn’t think that this was one of them.

After the amount of rain Tully had experienced, I was not expecting a lot from the local course. After playing a very soggy El Arish the previous day, I was very suprised with the good condition of the course and the speed of the greens. Whilst you would not call them fast, they were very true and good to putt on. Not that it helped us in the two ball Ambrose even we played in; we must have had 10 putts for birdie from 10 to 20 feet and only got one.

The course has 9 holes with two tees on all holes for 18. It is a very challenging course as you do not get any run and is quite long. The tee shot on the 7th hole is interesting having to shoot over a dam to a small green.

The locals are extremely welcoming to all visitors and a drink in the bar after a round is very worthwhile.
