A great course, not long but very tricky, small elevated greens, very hill especially the back nine. Cart rental is the best income earner. Middle of the drought, fairways and rough like concrete, greens magnificent. They tell me they have water coming mid 2009 – being piped 5klm from the towns new sewerage tratment works. Be a great course to revists when there is grass on the fairways.

Had many games here over the years with the most recent late December 2006. Like all areas of Country Australia, water is an issue, however cogratulations is in order for the course management as the Greens are in good condition. Fairways are patchy in places but not club damaging. The layout is of a high standard with couple of picture perfect holes with, in my opinion, the best being the par 3 17th. Bring on the Rain..

18 holes of doglegs and undulating fairways
A great test for all levels of golfers.
Based at the foothills of the snowy mountains gives for some scenic tee shots and panoramic views.
20 min off the Hume highway from Gundagai and only 1 hour from wagga wagga ... worth the visit.
Good luck and good golfing!!!!

This course still needs water. The middle holes of the back nine have a very patchy covering of grass. Greens in good nic. The back nine is much tougher than the front nine perhaps partly due to the grassless patches on several holes and tighter tree lined, dog legged fairways. On the back nine you basically play across a broad gully for a few holes- dog-leg right on the way up the gully and dog leg left on the way down.
I will definitely revisit the club when the course has seen the results of more water and regrowth on the fairways. In the mean time if I wsa in the area I would go for a game if time permitted. Some holes are a little frustrating. 8th with huge tree in the middle of the fairway. 15th (I think) with fairway that slopes severely to left and right and a narrow raised green that is of the bald headed man variety.
