Measures 2703m Par 35 with three par 3s ranging from 132-167m, four par 4s ranging from 290-340m and two par 5s ranging from 442-506m. Course terrain is challenging, but not the course itself. Fairways mostly slope with some decent lies out there, teebeds are in good condition, but greens are slow.

442m 1st is a slight dogleg left with fairway sloping to the right to a bunkerless green.

331m 2nd is straight with greenside bunker left and right, fairway bunker 230m from tee on right, with fairway sloping to the left.

339m 5th has numerous elevated small teebeds in great condition, with fairway sloping to the left with bunker short left of green.

290m 8th has homes OOB on the right, fairway slopes to the left with a steep rise to the bunkerless green.

Played here 25/09/2010 and paid $25 green fees. Overall, the course is fairly challenging for the beginner. I wouldn’t recommend this course for the serious golfers, as there are challenging 18-hole layouts at Narooma (35km south) or Moruya (less than 20km north).

Time for a review of this course I think…

This is quite a capable course in its own right and is really only let down by a couple of factors, the biggest being it is only 9 holes. Having said that at least the designers decided to try and go a full length course rather than cram in a Par 3 style course.

This is real mountain goat country with some holes leaving you knackered (if on foot) before you’ve got 50m up (and literally up…) the fairway.

The condition when we played last week was pretty good although the greens were a little two paced. Also, due to the course being on the side of a hill, some drives that landed in the middle of the fairway actually rolled well into the rough. Not ideal.

But overall, a great track if you are out for a hit and have access to a cart. Otherwise, plenty of other great tracks in the region.

Cons

• Only a 9 holer
• The crossfall on some fairways is beyond a joke
• Really need a cart or else 18 may just kill you...
