Easily the best course this side of the Moonbies.

A beautiful course, in the best condition I’ve seen it, in over a decade of playing. Lush fairways, wonderfully soft – yet quick – greens (though a tad on the small side) and delightful flora & fauna to walk around, but without the pinecone mess that Armidale has.

Social golf is cheap and unhurried and without the serious overtones of elsewhere. This truly is the gem in the New England. Bravo to the greenskeeper and all involved.

Nice little course in a small town in the New England.

The greens and surrounds are well maintained and are a credit to the greenkeeper, the fairways and tee’s need a lot of work though.

Nice course though and would add a nice additon to the real gem in the New England, Armidale.

One of the greatest little country clubs around,doing it very hard in this present time could do with a lot more support,get a bus trip organised and come to this friendly town and have a game,you will be surprised with the quality of the greens,easy walking no hills,few bunkers and water hazards,very enjoyable.

Located 20km south of Armidale, Uralla GC is quite a well maintained course for a town thats population is around 2500.

ACR is 69 and is one of the more affordable courses. $15 for 18 holes and $10 for 9 holes for 7 days.

Greens are very well maintined (up to city course standard) although the fairways have quite thin topsoil. I shot 10 over par here, as the wind played a large part. Hazards include water (1st, 2nd, 16th, 17th) and not many bunkers around the greens.

If you are in the New England region must have a hit at Uralla GC, its quite challenging and very affordable.
