There are 9 red-to-black soil greens which are usually oiled. There is no grass on the fairways as you’d expect for any town in this region without water for the course.
No bunkers here with mostly straight holes and basic golf facilities. Fees are $5.
Course is accessed from Ross Street on the eastern side of the small town. Wilcannia is a small town of around 600 people on the northern side of the Darling River.
The closest grass green course is in Broken Hill about 200km (or just less than 2 hours) west of Wilcannia.
