Played Wonthaggi over the weekend. While I found the course to be in reasonable condition especially considering the rain. I found the service to be below par.

I got the feeling the bloke in the proshop didn’t want to be there and his attidtude made me feel the same.

This said the greens rolled true and were quite quick given the amount of rain.

I found there to be several good dog leg holes that made you think about club selection off the tee.

I think it would be a nice course to play in summer in the evenings but in the middle of winter I would give it a miss.

A very good golf course with good greens it’s a course that suits low and high handicappers no tricky dog legs or nasty surprises it is a very honest course.

An honest low maintenance course for a small country town.

Front nine provides some easier golf, with the back nine being longer, and providing more challenges. Suitable for both beginners and club golfers, and provides an interesting diversion from the beach for Cape Patterson and Inverloch visitors.
