Wyndham is a nine hole course but plays 18 holes with 2 tees on each fairway. Their sand greens are some of the best you'll find in the state and very fast. Due to the rugged climate the fairways are largely sandy with scattered grass. Club rules allow you to tee up on the fairway otherwise it would be like hitting out of a bunker on every shot. Boab trees are a special feature on this course with creek beds running through several holes. The greens are small with some placed next to creeks to make them interesting. It may sound easy teeing up on the fairway but if you go off the fairway on this course it's like hitting out of the long grass at Muirfield.
