The Wynyard Golf Club is a great little nine hole course situated in a delightfully attractive setting on the western banks of the Inglis River and directly underneath Fossil Bluff at Wynyard on the North West Coast of Tasmania.
If you wish you can stroll on the golden sands of Bass Strait beside the second and third holes, or from the seventh and eight holes see if you can spot our resident seal frolicking in the Inglis River.
Surrounded by golden sands and rocky outcrops this course is well placed amongst the most beautiful in Australia.

Measures 2700m Par 35 with 3 Par 3s ranging from 140-175m, 4 Par 4s ranging from 275-355m and two Par 5s ranging from 445-485m. Greens are little slow, teebeds fair and fairways a little bare in places but overall a nice cover of grass.
Highlights include the 355m Par 4 2nd with OOB (i.e. the beach) on the right, and the dogleg around the beach (OOB on the right again)275m Par 4 3rd with Table Cape conservation area backing the well-bunkered green. The elevated T at the 4th/13th offers a good score if accurate with a bunkerless green. The blind 140m Par 3 T shot at the 6th/15th is a case of 'is it on' to your partner as you walk up to the bunkered green.
Played here 19/7/06 and paid $10 green fees. Great location along the beach and at the mouth of the Inglis River.
