Measures 2751m Par 35 with three par 3s ranging from 115-187m, four par 4s ranging from 304-352m and two opening par 5s ranging from 446-498m.
Course has 9 black soil scrapes with the Broughton River forming the western and northern boundaries. Except for the 304m/6th or the 339m/15th, all front and back nine tee mounds are the same. Basic golf facilities here. Fees are $5
The opening hole begins with the 446m straight 1st/10th with a synthetic grass tee mat slightly above the bunkerless green. This is followed by the longest hole on the course: the 498m slight dogleg left 2nd/11th has the Broughton River OOB on the far left. A long par 3 is followed by 3 shortish par 4s then back-to-back par 3s at 7th/16th and 8th/17th. The closing 351m fairly straight 9th/18th hole is a simple finish.
Yacka is a small village of less than 200 people approximately 160m above sea level.
Course access is from South Terrace on the western edge of the village. Closest grass green course is Clare which is 40km south-east of Yacka.
