Waterford Valley is one of my favourite courses, public or private. The condition of the course is excellent! Fairways are kept in great condition and the greens run true & fast.

It’s a course that constantly makes you consider your distances. Hazards seem to be placed in awkward spots, whether it be water, heavy rough or bunkers. You need to be fully aware of how far you can hit each club in your bag as to whether you take on certain shots or lay up. I find myself using fairway woods and long irons off the tee rather than pulling out the big boy!

For $50 a round it’s a bargain. A great conditioned course that makes you think. The 18th of my favourite, with bunkers and water surrounding the green… it makes you want to come back!

PROS

  • Excellent condition
  • Interesting holes

Cons

  • It's not closer to my house

Played the course early morning (7am – 28.8.2011, first tee) and what an absolute pleasure as no-one held us up on the front nine. Did get held up on the back, but not too much.Although the greens were being prepared to be scarified, they ran extremely true to the line of the hole. There were patches of dampness on the fairways , but this did not affect the roll of the ball. Even if the ball did happen to land on a wet patch, the ball stood up well on the fairway with no mud attached.

I must say, for a public course with a private course feel I was impressed. The layout is testing with a few hidden gems (stream across fairways, strategically placed bunkers), bunkers were trimmed and well looked after, greens ran true and a very pleasant walk with the Dandenong Mountains in the background especially on the back nine.

The outgoing (front) nine is a bit more challenging as the fairways are not as wide and forgiving as the incoming nine and tee-shots need to be well-thought out. On most holes you have a full view of the tee-to-gren route which makes course management easier. The bunkers, both fairway and greenside, are a fair size and plenty of rakes to ensure that they are well maintained by visitors. Unfortunately the incoming nine (10-18) lost some of impressiveness as the outgoing nine.

The incoming nine is more open, wider fairways (grip and rip feel) and with a great view of the Dandenong Mountains. There are a lot more hidden streams and bunkers and this is where usage of the course map (attached to the scorecard) came in handy. Second shots to the par 4`s on this nine are not as easy as it seems due to valleys just before the greens, so the green looks closer than it actually is. The finishing holes (16-18) bring back the feel that the outgoing has and the 18 is a great finishing hole. The tee shot on this hole needs to hit dead centre of the fairway, although mine was just to right (water on the left and trees on the right). The second shot (about a five to seven iron) is played over water to a large green well guarded by bunkers. Making par on this hole is job well done and making a birdie is even better.

I would recommned having a round at Waterford Valley (price is $50 and on a sunny day, early in the morning is well worth it), and hopefully my next round will be from the Tiger tees, which adds a further 500 meters (Just a pitty the 608m par far was not from the back…..yes, the course does have a par 5 measuring over 600 metres).

Played waterford this week and was surprised at how the course played with the recent wet weather. There were very few wet areas, none really in play. The greens were slow as expected, but rolled true. The overall condition was great with all bunkers having a good cover of fluffy sand. Fairways were a little brown due to the Couch being dormant but the grass cover was A1.A little expensive if you pay full price, but i used the Golf Course guide for $35 mid week. Better conditioned than Kingston Links for this time of year.

Played here recently in perfect Melbourne weather: Overcast, low 20’s with hardly a breath of wind.

This is my first time back since a couple of winter’s ago, where the condition of the track was quite bad (soggy, brown and waterlogged greens). This is a very good course when its dry.
It has a nice combination of bunkering, water hazards and length to protect itself. It rewards good ball positioning and the cautious golfer.
On the day, the course was in very good condition. Fairways were well covered, bunkers dry, and the roughs were generally playable. As mentioned by another review, the some parts of the fairways were cut (too) short, which certainly made the lies more challenging. While I regard this as a long course, its not too outrageous.

PROS

  • Course in general, is in very good condition
  • Good variety of challenges for the golfer

Cons

  • May be a bit too long for some.
  • Conditions are not very good in the wet season.

Really enjoyed playing here. Found the going pretty tough (in a good way) as the course is quite long, with plenty of bunkers and lots of water in play. It looks like an easy course from a distance, but it requires perfect shot selection or you spend (like me) a large part of your day digging your way out of bunkers.
The fairways are wide so that players of all levels should find themselves on the fairway more often than not. I played with guy who has only been playing for a few weeks and he found the fairways regularly.
Greens are also really big so can get reward for attacking the greens from a long way out.
Fairways were in really good condition and were great to hit off if you landed on them.
But don’t be fooled. Its a tough track. The pro said the course record is "only" 67. I can see why. Its a bit of a monster but is enjoyable for all levels of golfer. Unlike a lot of other highly rated public courses- its actually playable and enjoyable for all levels of golfer and not too punishing on newer players or hackers alike.
ONLY downside- we played after a week of rain so a lot (i’d say about half) of the bunkers were full to the brim with water. I lost 3 balls in bunkers full of water. Otherwise had a great day and will be back for sure.

To those with a learned understanding of golf architecture and the golf industry, Waterford Valley must rank as one of Australia’s best public tracks and definately the best in Melbourne

Why do I say this?

I am not here to argue to classical architectural merits of said course versus Tier 1 sandbelt tracks. However, if you take the layout and compare it to public access tracks across Melbourne and the Peninsula, then some clever engineering starts to emerge

Firstly, for the average social player who is likely to frequent a course such as this, he likes to feel that they have “a chance” at a course. They don’t want to play 420m uphill par 4’s into the prevailing breeze like at Eynesbury. They don’t want 5.5 hr rounds after an hours drive looking balls in the rough like at the Dunes and playing in howling gales

What they want is wide fairways, sub 380m par 4’s, bunkers largely out of play but there for asthetics and large generous greens.

Waterford Valley excels in all these points with the added bonus of being in Metro Melbourne and in easy access off Eastlink

Every hole at Waterford gives the once a month player hope of a par. The 1st at 330m off the blues is a straight away hole with a massive green (a highlight of the course). Great foresight by pacific Coast Design, knowing that they didn’t need to design Kingston Heath, but instead a way to lure the average hacker into a round

The course has plenty of water that is largely out of play (eg rarely a forced water carry except for the approach at 18 and tee shot on 13) and the bunkers are all a few feet back from the green complexes. Again, the average player is not penalised for missing unless it is an atrocious miss.

The wide Santa Anna fairways are always in good condition due to the use of recycled water. Combine this with width, and typically bowl shaped greens, and you can see the architect was attempting to keep balls in play, rather than create a monster. this ensures rounds move on with clockwork precision. Slow play is a rarity here.

Perfect design for the purpose

Waterford Valley also has some interesting holes for the better player including #3 that asks choices off the tee for the longer hitter, #10 that reveals its green the further right you hit (but lengthens the approach) and #15 that will beg all weekend warriors to try drive it in 1.

Waterford Valley has space, interest, and most importantly, has been designed as a public course. No stupidly long rough touching the fairways, no lomng water carries, 63 bunkers for looks rather than punishment and greens built to contain balls rather than propell the bad shot away

For $50, you will not leave underwhelmed.

For your next public round when in Melbourne, choose Waterford Valley. It was built for you to enjoy your game.

You may be able to argue successfully that their are better designed public traks in Melbourne based purely on architecture. However, when you start to analyse a Waterford Valley against its competition on a “fit for purpose” equation, it will win every time

Played there yesterday. It had heaps of rain on it the night before and was still playable. The number of groundsmen on the course was testament to the effort they are putting in. I reckon it is one of the best public access courses in Melbourne. Has some tough par 5s and 3s in particular.

PROS

  • Lots of tee options
  • Good condition of greens & fairways
  • Degree of challenge

Cons

  • Little expensive

I am a regular of Waterford Valley and play here every Saturday. After hearing the last couple of comments I couldnt stand not to write something. This course is in a good condition, as it has been in the last 4 years. Yeah there may have been 2 or 3 fairways with a bit of surface water but after 48 mm of rain in 2 days. Considering it was built on a floodplain and there are 2 creeks running either side running off the dandenongs of course its going to get wet. Mother nature is a beautiful thing. Its people like you guys that write negative feedback about courses that give these courses a bad name. How about you leave your sticks at home and go for a picnic instead. You will probably still be complaining about the traffic on the way there. Wet weather golf really separates the men from the boys.

Aptly named Waterford Valley, other names could include Swiming Pool Valley or The Fairways Were Unplayable Valley. I have played hundreds of golf courses over the years and I’m more than happy to pay $100+ for a good round of golf. This was a joke though, we paid $70 to play 18 holes with carts. Normally you would expect carts to enhance a round of golf, however when you are not informed until the signs on the first hole that you can’t steer of the cart paths due to the flood plane that lies ahead, questions need to be asked. This course should have been closed. Granted we have had allot of rain, but Waterford Valley has some serious drainage problems. The worst I have ever seen! Great layout with loads of potential, but I wont be going back any time soon, and I’ll certainly steer clear any time there is a hint of a few mm’s of rain, because this course just cant handle it. Bunkers were full to overflowing with water in some cases, fairways were closed and the bunkers had plastic rakes! Such a shame. My advice to people, steer clear of this course between April and November, or whenever we get rain.

I played today after there had been some heavy rain at times, over the last week. We were told at the pro shop to play preferred lies as about 3 fairways were in soft condition. More like 12. I understand courses can get wet in winter but I think this course struggles and may be a better choice in the warmer months of the year. Being a public access course, at $50 a game, I was again disappointed at the conditions of the bunkers and fairways where players had not raked or filled their divots. I know that’s not the club’s fault but it did detract from my opinions of the conditions. We hit off at 11am and there wasn’t many out before us. I suspect the foot marks are from the previous days patrons.

I can see that this course could and would play quite tough with any sort of wind blowing and any firmness to the greens. There were some temporary tees included recently and some of the fairways leading up to the greens were in very poor (boggy condition).

My overall opinion in the course was rated down due to it’s current condition and I believe that you’d better give it a wide berth over winter or if there’s been a lot of rain.

Played there last weekend.

The fairways were very wide and forgiving (for an 18 & 23 hcp), if not a little uninspiring.

Every single fairway without exception was covered with those annoying little clumps of mud that appear when worms come up out of the soil. I did not play a shot that didnt leave the club covered in mud.

10 out of 18 greens were completely covered in duck sh*t.

We teed off 10 at 7.35am and the greenkeeper hadnt mown the dew off the greens. When he did, he did not do so in order of the holes. The greens on our first nine went from fast to slow and vice versa depending on if the dew was still there, so you had to re-judge the speed on every green.

It took us 5 hours to get round (we walked), but there were 3 or 4 slow groups in front of us.

Overall we enjoyed ourselves but for $50 I would think twice about returning, simply because I think there are better courses for the same or less in $$ terms.

The course itself is a bit beige, with very few interesting/stand out holes and no real need to think/plot your way around. With such wide fairways, all you needed to do was stay straight and you were always going to play well (as long as you can putt!).

I think in future I would rather travel for an hour plus to pay $50 for a round of golf (Dunes/Growling Frog) as there are plenty of places i can play in Melbourne for less and walk away with the same underwhelmed feeling…

Played waterford valley today, this course is very well designed and maintained. The greens were big, true and rolling well, the fairways were wide and open & in A1 condition. The tee markers and holes were set out with a good mix, lots of water around which i feel makes the course. Big bunkers nicely raked. The field was busy but moving well. I heard about this course on Gold 104 and yes I agree this is a great course one to play if you haven’t already.

Played for first time today, left with mixed feelings. Overall, the course is very good, very well maintained fairways, the greens were good, plenty of bunkers and water, it just didn’t hit the spot for me.

It’s easily the best public in the area, I agree with the review below however that at $45 midweek and $50 weekends – cart not included, it’s a little pricey. Make it $35 and $40 and I’m sold. Would only go back if really felt like playing a nicer course and can’t be bothered driving.

Overall very nice but for locals only at that price, I wouldn’t bother driving more than half an hour to play there.

Its an interesting set out. I played most of the holes from the black tees today as they were the only ones marked, and it wasn’t a short course, but it definatly was overly long.

The fairways were also very wide, so you could really just bomb away from the tee. The was quite a bit of water, and bunkers on every hole, but apart from that, it really didn’t matter if you missed the fairway, it normally ended up with a decent enough lie.

The greens were very big and in good condition for a public course, but there were still quite a few plug marks that people hadn’t fixed. The greens were also quite soggy, and it hasn’t rained that much, so i think they might have a problem with their drainage.

But overall I enjoyed the course, but i don’t think it was really worth $50.

Played at Waterford valley for the first time this morning and i was very impressed. Lovely course in great condition. Cant sya i had the best round, actually it was the worst round ive had in a long time but it wasnt the course that was just me. Fairways were in great condition, greens were perfect. Its quite a long course with 4 par 5’s and some really long par 3’s when playing off the blue tees. Was $45 for a midweek round but id pay that any day to play on a course like this. Couldnt pick a fault at this course. Recommend to anyone.

Play WV for the second time in a month, and i am quite impressed. It is a good solid course. Good condition although the ground staff are working hard not too lose the greens( which is weird cause it hasn’t been that hot) Dont like the re jig out the back 12-13 i think it is but can understand if people were smashing balls into the houses on the par 5. Good mix of par 3’s &5’s the some of the fours feel same same but hard to make them all interesting i surpose. It seems though people go there for a leisurely stroll and arn’t to concerned in the time it takes to play. Both our rounds took almost 5 and a 1/4 and a hell of alot of waiting. It’d be a good track if you got a good run at it.

Its a great course condition wise, beautiful fairways, greens and bunkers. A great design, as i kept hitting long bombs off tee, but straight into perfectly placed bunkers. The only downside is overbooking. Midweek no problems, but sat or sun at anytime is ridiculous. we had 4 groups waiting on the 1st tee waiting to tee off so it was 40 mins after our suggested tee time before even swinging a club, by the 10th tee we were the 7th group to be standing on the tee, as they had started to book people for 18 to start on the back nine. All in All it took us 3hrs 45mins to play nine and that was enough. Our tee-off time was 7.15am on a saturday morning. It is a beauty course wise and midweek would be a dream

Had been wanting to play this course for a while and a day off work during the week gave me a chance to get out on a quiet course, although on an extremely windy day.

The strongest wind i had played in, my lack of skill and landing a few balls on the concrete cart paths meant i was digging deep into the bag for balls, but i was still impressed by the layout and condition on the course.

The fairways were fairly hard for this time of year, offering some great roll on drives. Only downside for the day was the group in front for half the round with them taking long chats between shots and not playing on.

Still, the course was good enough to make up for others rudeness. Can’t wait to head back.

Played this course for the first time last Tuesday and it’s a top course. Beautiful condition. It’s a links-style layout, wrapped around retirement homes, well designed with water abound and several bunkers on most holes. The course is flat overall (no up hill, down hill or side hill lies) but there are several undulations on the fairways and greens. Greens are quick and true and most holes you’ll have a breaking putt. Very similar in style to the top peninsula courses – i.e. The Dunes, Moonah Links, Eagle Ridge (they’re the only ones i’ve played down there) and Santuary Lakes, Kingston Links. There was a layout change that hadn’t quite come to fruition yet around the 5th to 6th hole, but that was fine and will be good once the grass settles down.

There are some really nicely designed holes on this course. Thought has gone into the layout. Nice dog legs and several holes with water along the edge of most of the hole. Fairway bunkers and greenside bunkers in the right positions allowing some tricky or easy pin placements. Large greens on most holes, allowing “percentage” golf or a fly at the pin. Should mention the nice run on the fairways, and the wind being an open course.

Front 9 had more water than the back 9 (most holes), although still plenty of water on the back 9. Back 9 is a lot more open than the front 9, thought it was easier for this reason. Tigher on the front 9 but still plenty of room, wouldn’t describe it tight by any means, a normal amount of room. You can miss your target on the drive on this course and still be ok, although too wayward (spray) or off line on the wrong hole (i.e. water) and most of the time the ball is gone.

Given that the layout and condition of this course is up there with the penisula, the price of $45 i thought was sensational. You wouldn’t play it every day of the week because of the price but the course was so nice it’s a bargain really when the others are pushing the $100 (with a cart, which you don’t have to get at this course).

We played on Tuesday too so we virtually had the course to ourselves. Passed one group who let us straight through, it’s that kind of course, attracts the sort of golfers that know what’s going on, dress code for sure here, i.e. slacks, polo shirt.

A couple of criticisms. Too much sand in the bunkers i thought. It wasn’t that nice couple of cm of sand, it was beach. Well groomed and all that, just too much. My ball didn’t plug, it was raining the day before so it was compacted and that may have stopped it, but it’s the sort of sand that does plug, particularly with a SW to green type of shot.

Tad short from the public markers too but that’s the same with all these type of courses. Play it from the back markers if you want to experience the whole course.

Not for the weekend hack this one but it’s open enough. Like the peninsula though, the water, bunkers and sloping greens will get you eventually so you have to expect a higher score and a couple of lost balls and three putts. Condition and price-wise though, definitely worth checking out.

I am out on this great course weekly and I feel it is only on its way up. The greenkeepers have had there hands full with a little construction work which is all finished now.

I feel the course is in great shape even though the fairways are dorment and greens aren’t growing vigorously due to the weather. I am looking forward to spring when this course is at its best. Highly recommended. Worth everything you pay for!

Its a nice layout and very testing from the back tees. It has a number of very good holes, especially on the back nine. Difficult holes generally offer reasonable bailout options for less skilled players.

Its conditioning lets it down quite a bit. The fairways and greens could do with a bit more love. The grass cover in the rough which can be only metres from the greens is very sparse in lots of places.

It could do with a decent course guide. I would happily pay $5 to $10 for one. Hole maps on the teeing grounds would be handy, the tiny map on the scorecard is better than nothing but less than ideal.

Price wise at $50 its very overpriced compared to other quality offerings like the Dunes and 13th Beach. I would have thought that $30 odd like Sunshine is more the right kind of price point.

Beautiful course and well worth the $50 green fees. Wide, tempting fairways, all of which are excellently maintained and manicured lead you to vast greens which run true. However, plenty of bunkers, not to mention water offset the apparent ease of the course well and truly.

Overall great course and definately we play here again.

PROS

  • Big landing-zone greens

This is a ripper course. Large landing areas but some really tricky approaches. great for the big hitters. Par 3’s make the course. They can be pretty tough. Busy on a Sunday morning, but traffic seemed to move pretty well. The 18th is a tough finish. Really enjoyed it, excellent conditions and will be back.

I have played this course a few times and always enjoyed it. Last week however I really appreciated it. The fairways are fantastic – land on them and the ball sits up nicely (I did not mis-hit an iron all day as a result). The greens too are great – you could throw the ball in and it would stop – get the ball moving laterally however and it would roll a long way. They are very fast (took me 8 holes to get used to the pace) but true and rewarding.

Some great holes (2nd, 10th, 16th and 18th) and no real bad or boring ones. The par 3’s are long – especially the 13th which if you are not a big hitter like me can prove tough, but I’d rather that than a pitch and putt course.

Overall a great course and worth the money in my opinion.

I really like this course a lot, it’s more challenging than most public access tracks, and the steepish green fees tend to keep casual hackers away. I’ve never had an overly long round here. The only time I got stuck behind a slow group a quick call to the clubhouse brought a quick response.

1st hole is a shortish par 4 with a huge expanse of fairway… a good opener to loosen up and shake your nerves. Then straight away a longish par 3 with water all the way down the right, a weak slice is wet. All the par 3s are 160m or longer by the way, which is a bit of a rarity I would have thought. The eighth is a par 5 – you have to hit over a canal off the tee, then there is plenty of water down the right to punish an errant fairway wood. I’ve lost multiple balls there on the same day. 9th also has lots of water nestled against the right side of the fairway and green.

13th – a beast of a par 3 with water all the way from the tee to the green on the right. If you are feeling queasy you can lay up to the left. 14th is a dogleg par 5 with a big bunker on the corner. 18th is the toughest hole, a long par 4 with OOB on the right, water on the left, and water circling an island green surrounded by 4 large bunkers. Had a foursome that walked off the hole after losing 10 balls between us.

There are plenty of fairway bunkers across the whole course, and some are placed on blind spots where a drive would naturally be aimed – a printout of the google map would be well worth carrying around!

Playes on monday afternoon Just two of us, it took just over 4 hours walking. It is quite a long walk, but if you play at sanctuary lakes that is a long walk too.

The fairways are generous and the green on the large side. a bit of water, but not really in play off the ladies tees. From a ladies point of view, there has been thought of where the ladies tee off from. The par threes are all of good length, none under 100 meters.

Very impressed, will visit again.

great course. Had fun. Played twice.

When booking this course it is worth considering a cart for the day.

The only issue I had was that for 18 holes it took us over 5hrs with a cart as we had to wait for others ahead to complete their round. People who where walking took priority over carts.

You must bring some repellent for mozzies.

This is one helluva awesome course!

At a time when the entire state is plouhed with a drought, you actually get to play in a course that is GREEN. The tees, fairways, rough, greens… yes all GREEN.

I might add that this course is still a bit young. Another year or two and it will be way up there .. givin Kingston Links a run for its money!

The front 9 are average, the back 9 BEAUTIFUL ! Some of the holes have the most fasicaniting views of the Dandenongs. Plenty of water in play.

Most par 4s of a reasonable length. I played off the BLUE Tees and was excellent.

Some of the Par 3s are long 7 Challenging.

On a windy day … this place can be quite a challenge!

Great course, long testing, wind was up which mate it a monster. Fairways were in good nick as were the greens, only critisism is that there were long walks between a number of holes - should have hired a cart, will be back again, give it a year and will be sensational.

The problem with public courses at weekends is the speed of play and waterford Valley is no exception. After completing the front nine in around 2hrs 15 we were then advised by the pro shop that a delay of about 3 groups awaited us before starting the back nine. This is not good but at least they gave us a light lunch on the house. Our day was also blighted by the coreing of the green only days before and as everyone knows its not much fun playing on really bad sand scrapes! Saying this I understand this has to happen but the public should be advised of such actions when booking. The course will mature into a very nice public strip and the back nine will stand out from most layouts becuase its very nicely designed and keeps the golfer very honest. I will reserve my full judgement on the course when I play later in the year when the green are hopefully rolling a bit better.

A very nice course that rewards straight hitters and crucifies wayward shots - I would recommend you load up your bag with a bunch of balls you don't mind losing.

The front nine feels very new and quite a few of the holes still have a pretty ugly vista, but that will soon change as the planted trees grow. The back nine feels far more established and is a pure joy to play with plenty of challenging layouts, bunkers and of course water, water everywhere.

The signature 13th 200m par 3 over 180m of lake is far too tempting for those with excess testosterone - there must already be about a million golf balls in the lake, but the joy of landing on the green is probably about the same as landing a date with Kylie and then sinking the putt!

I congratulate the designers on a challenging but realistic course, and the greenkeepers for the excellent greens and maturing fairways. It is also pleasing to find a course that offers junior rates on Sundays, so I can afford to take my 16 year old son and then watch him beat me by 15 strokes !

My only recommendations would be a decent map on every tee showing the 150m from green spot and water hazards, and secondly there should be enclosed rubbish bins on at least every second hole - the amount of rubbish lying around is disappointing for an otherwise well groomed course.

I look forward to seeing this course mature over the next five years.

Living next door to this course I have been waiting 3 years for it to open. And finally it has. For me it is over priced at $45 midweek to play, espically when you need to take a golf cart as well. There is alot of walk between some greens and tees and the 10th tee would be atleast 500m from the 9th green.

The practice area is fantastic, but you must bring your own balls for the practice area, which is only longer enough for upto 5 iron. But I found the chipping area was excellent.

The front 9 is nothing special but straight away you must get use to the hugh greens. Expect to have at least one 50ft put for the day if not more.

Lots of Fairway bunkers and are very well placed. Caught me a couple of times.

This course really comes alive on the back nine. Some of the holes are a real delight and extremely hard to play. With the final hole been a 350m par 4 that has an island green making the second shot a lot of fun.

Overall worth a visit espically if you use the golf course guide discount for four players. After that lets hope they bring the price down. I live on the 11th fairway and it is not getting a lot of traffic at the moment.

Loved this course. What was once a virtual wasteland five years back has undergone a remarkable transition.

Superb fairways, excellent bunkers and first class greens. Back 9 is spectacular with a great backdrop of the Dandenongs and many strategically placed waterways.

Front 9 is a little "industrial" in comparison, but this is mainly because of nearby factories and roads. The course itself is every bit as good as the back nine.

4 sets of tees provides a real challenge for every level of golfer. The course has excellent warm up facilities and is very accessible to the Eastern suburbs. Makes many other courses look very average.

Not sure how the sun will affect play on sunny days on what is predominatly an east-west layout. I suspect it could be an issue.

My only criticism is that the people in the pro shop and restaurant need to lighten up a bit and learn how to smile. You've got a great product, but the customer service needs plenty of work!!

This course is proof that you do not need a big name designer to design a monster that no one can tame. This course was clearly created with the amateur golfer in mind, an excellent mix of challenges and rewards for good golf, overall a very enjoyable course that will appeal to most golfers. The two nines are very different from each other, one needs more precision and placement, the other get your driver pumping. All greens are huge, user friendly mounding a good bunker placement. Very central to the eastern suburbs this course is set to be a real hit.
