Not sure how this course is rated as 4.5 stars definitely an inflated rating. Yes I am a little sore that we turned up to play as part of our Gold Coast golf tour – first day and rainy periods only to get up to the first green and find cored and heavily sanded greens. No mention when booking in advance or by pro shop on the day. To rub it in they charged us full price $58pp with cart, when compared to $62pp with cart through iseek for Robina Woods I think its ok to feel a little ripped off.

While the greens were hopeless and obviously coloured our day I was disappointed in the course overall. A real lack of memorable holes. As a comparison played Tallebudgera and even with the greens in mint condition at Burleigh would go close to rating them on par with one and other

Clubhouse was good and enjoyed a really nice lunch.

had a recent members day there as a guest, what can i say, the course was awesome!! the super and his staff have and are doing a great job

greens slick, love em fast
the course has come along way since early 2009 when i last played it, the low index holes are low for a reason, standout is by far the 2nd par4, great shots needed right through the green then you got to think about your putt, greens perfect!!
which brings me to the members? i always thought that a course is only as good as it’s members, well, i was wrong especially in this case, it was school holidays too and there were no juniors about? am not suprised
anyways will play it again but only socially when back on the coast, great course well done groundstaff
anyways all in all

A group of 8 of us played here on Jun 12th and loved the experience. The course was in excellent condition in spite of all the rain experienced over the last few weeks. We received a warm welcome and recommend the course to all for and enjoyable and challenging game of golf

Course is a delight. Well grassed fairways, greens, all the hazards are there, timber, water, gradients, optical judgements tested. The club also has a friendly air about it, with a helpful pro shop. If you think the nearby well know courses have a good name, try this one. It is good as any going around and then you will be telling your friends to go here for an enjoyable day out golfing, when visiting the area.

As a competitor in the 2005 QLD Medal I thought it prudent to have a look at this track before teeing it up and what a worthwhile look it was.

Amazingly green considering QLD's recent drought. The fairways are all in good nic and the greens are also good (although quite grainy).

The wind was howling on the day I played which made for some harrowing shots into the breeze. If the wind wasn't blowing I'm sure the big hitters will be able to shoot a good score.

The finishing holes on this course were a real highlight. The first 15 holes are all fair with flatish greens but the last 3 are beasts. I would not like to be holing a downhiller on 16 in particular as the slope is almost vertical.

I'd recommend first timers use a motorised cart as it is pretty hilly. A word of warning however, the members are "Cart Nazi's" and despite the fact that the signage is ultra confusing and cart paths suddenly stop they are quick to come running over and tell you where you should go. Suffice to say I also told a couple of them where I thought they could go and what they could do when they got there!

Really Good course
