Hazeltine National Golf Club
Add A Review
The forces of nature are on display at Hazeltine. On a piece of ground where the woods battled the prairie for dominance over the centuries, the golfer is faced with a mixture of both. Water also comes into play, with hazards guarding a number of holes, and with the fearsome challenge of Hazeltine Lake on number sixteen playing on a player’s mind long before stepping onto its tee. If the wind is up, the course takes on a whole new dimension.
Architect Robert Trent Jones took the landscape and put a premium on shot values that makes low scores rare. His son Rees Jones used the routing and modified the course to test the best players of today.
Hazeltine is all about golf. This is the course that defines the club, as tough a test as you will find.
