Played at Indooroopilly about 3-4 times now. Beautiful course with some challenging holes.
For this price, nothing beats Indooroopilly East Course.

I believe this is the best cheap suburban course in Brisbane. For $32 on iseek you can't beat that.
The course is a good challenge. A few interesting dog legs. Raised greens/tees. The back 9 has some fantastic aesthetics.
The fairways and greens are always very well maintained. Good ammenities surrounding tee off areas (plenty of ball cleaners). The gardens throughout the course are also of a high standard.
Clubhouse is great. Pretty much the cheapest pot of stella I've had in Brisbane.
Have been back and will continue to go back.

with some more bunkering this course would be very good. 3 very short par 5s on the front 10 and short par 4s make the front the scoring 9. tough finish to the back 9. some very good holes.

I have played many of the courses brisbane has to offer and this is one of the best for sure.
The Course layout offered a different challenge every hole. Certainly not a boring track. I expected great fairways nd greens and wasnt let down. the fairways in particular were of the highest quality.
The coruse has mostly wide fairways giving you the confidence to let it rip with the driver. If you do go wayward tho prepare for a tough recovery shot the the trees are plentyfull along the sides.
If you havent played here, book a tee time and get golfing. 50 bucks on sunday was a bit pricey but the course is well well worth it.

Not as great as the members course but this is reflected in the price. It's worth the bit extra you pay over some other courses.
While some holes are fairly short all were reasonably challenging and interesting. There are a few longer par 4's, the par 5's are generally at or a bit less than 500 metres. The 3's were all in the 120-160 range. They could probably use a longer par 3 somewhere. The fairways and greens are good quality.
Well worth a hit.

My Friend and I are mad keen golfers and we usually play weekly at St Lucia, which is a great council course might I add. Anyway today we decided to play Indooroopilly as we thought we were up to the task.
What a suprise we got. Firstly the course is absolutely stunning
and its layout and greenery reflect the history of Brisbane.
However dont be fooled by its beauty. This course can be an
absolute monster and poor shots will pay the price. While good
shots that land on the velvet like fairways will be duefully
rewared. With faiways lined with trees that I like to call
'Low Hangers' and thick dry rough it is imperative to
play smart with both driver and irons. Most of the greens are
well guarded with large bunkers and so short play must be on the
money.
Overall a great course but a real tester. I would be interested
to see how much better the members course is. It is nearly double
the price of the public and I can't see it being any better.
This is an absolute GEM!

This is a great course and indeed one of the best public courses in brisbane. There are actualy two courses but one of them is for members, However, the public course is first class and offers some stunning holes. There is a good mix of short and long par4's spread around a realy good layout. The first few par 4's are short and can realy get the round started but not for long :). If I remember the price is a touch steep and you don't want to be buying second hand balls in the pro shop but for a few extra bucks you get a good Quality golf course.
