well well well back in 2006 I said I would never play this course again however a friend talked me around so I rang the pro shop yep come on down its quite 3pm Sunday afternoon balls zooming around 18mths old babies climbing out of golf carts and walking off. and best of all the gallery of boozers @ the 3/12 good on you boys.Managed to get 4 holes in than gave it away all the best Jindalee I think you will need it to many other golf clubs around to try again

As a beginner I found this course very accommodating. Recently there has been plenty of rain and the creeks are up and the creek flowing across the first and secon hole was running for the first time in a long time. Not so deep that I could not get my ball back though. Great fun and a lot better than any other short course I have been to in West Brisbane.

This course is struggling with the lack of rain, the greens and surrounds are still ok but from tee to green is pretty horrible. Could be a good beginner course in better conditions as there is trouble around, but the more accomplished player should have little trouble avoiding the hazards. Has a tendancy not to be well organised and on busy days there are too many groups on course (2 1/2 hours to play 4 holes!). The social tees are not well built and are very rarly flat.

Played at Jindalee recently and I must say that I enjoyed playing a relaxed 9 holes late on a saturday afternoon.

First hole was great, as a left hander, you can open the club face of the driver and smack the kaboodle out of it around the dog leg for anice easy approach.

All in all the fairways are in quite good condition and I found the greens unpredicatable, which was fun.

The 4pm tee off was great to relax and enjoy a no pressure round. It payed off as I hit 3+.

Cheap green fee’s as a student ($9 for a round) and I recommend anybody in the local area to try.

One to note … I think it was the 3rd hole. It can be quite intimidating with the social drunks 4 metres behind the tee. This bought the worse shot of the day with a hilarious back swing sound effect from the locals halfway through the swing, with a shout of 4!!!!. HaHa.

Cheers. ScottieD!

Small course but some holes can be long. This is one of the course I played when I was a beginner.

Very cheap green fee to play and beware there's a hole where its fairway runs parallel to the centenary highway. A big slice will sure end up sending some cars to the barricade.

Fairways - Not too bad, consider wide

Greens - Medium size that's not very difficult to shoot approach shot on it.

Bunkers - Soft sand

Corinda is probably more difficult because of the high possibility of OOB and the green is smaller too.

Course location is probably not as good as others. Noises from the highway and not much scenery unless you are into real estate.

Overall -3.5 stars for this 9 hole. Give it a try, your views may differ.

I agree with all past comments about this course it is a good beginner course

however there are several others around the area that run there Pro shop and tee off times a lot better than a policy of take the money and let them go

that has crept in in recent times , I have made my thoughts clear to the pro shop

and will not recommend Jindalee ever again .

I have played this course a few times as a student, and since I have been earning money have never been back.

This course is cheap. That's the major plus. It is also very good for beginners. My wife (who had never played golf before was getting bogeys)

On the negatives. It is only 9 holes, played twice for 18. Not in great condition with patches of hard dirt. I would not call it lush.

Now that I'm not a student would probably not go back.

For a 9 hole course Jindalee is a standout considering moderate cost to play and condition of the course.

The fairways in very good condition due to good water supply. Greens were true and most were similar speed, which was not too fast. The greens were generally small with most elevated.

The 4th is a 180m par 3 and very tough depending on pin placement. The 5th is a 155m par 3 and is their signature hole. You hit from a high tee position over water onto a green with water on the left, as are two bunkers and a steep hill on the right.

The Clubhouse is well appointed with over 20 poker machines and a dining area that is booked out on Friday nights.

Great value for money.

I may be one eyed having been a junior then senior member many years ago But

The people are like everywhere else, very lovable when you get to know them.

I have played only recently and comparing the old with the new is academic.

The new hole greens and bunkers are visually intimidating but play on the older coin sized bunkerless greens and watch out - many a pro has come to a sticky end !

Terry Grieves was the greenkeeper when I was there and would be envious of the water supply that is available today.

He could hit as far as Tiger Woods but that did not mean he could master Jindalee and the members along with Terry built the club with their bare hands,so to speak.

I think today the course seems easier than in the past where a foot left or right could end you up in the creek.

Considering limited space it is a fine community built course with a clubhouse view few can match and a sociability few would surpass.

The one thing I would say about this course is that I've taken three people there who were playing their very first game of golf and it proved a good place. It's not very busy, the holes are pretty short and easy and there's plenty of other hackers about - good for a first timer.

Easy to find, straight along the Centenary Hwy leaving Brisbane. A round of 18 holes during the week in $16, cart for the same is $25.

This course is a par 66, just over 4000 yards, pretty short. The facilities are nice and standard with the staff and members pretty friendly. The course has a lot of water in and around it, there for irrigation is not a problem and the course condition reflects. IT IS LUSH. When I played, it was in reasonable condition but could do with a little more maintenance, mainly mowing.

The fairways were in nice condition overall but I found you did not get much roll on the drives. The greens were overall nice, easy to slightly moderate to read and play. I noticed that some of the green were very lush and slow, while others had I believe been recently sanded and played like jets taking off. This made attacking putting difficult. The good thing about this course was on about 4 holes, the tees were raised so you could get a good look at what was ahead of you and gave you the chance to think. It's not a hole for big hitters, however on a few holes, like the 4th and the 7th, the design of the holes (raised greens, bunkers) gives you the chance to play safe or go for it. I went for it and was rewarded on both holes. Each hole offers different challenges, such as the 8th, 119 yards. Across water, narrow approach, rough fairway before the green, large trees lining the left. Deep close bunkers in front and to the left of the green. A moderate 9 iron straight and a birdie chance. A strong PW slightly left and I was in trouble. Had to play backwards out of the bunker to go the green.

All in all a nice little course. Last played there about 4 years ago, it has improved since. A good course for the average golfer who plays well with irons and over water. I shall play again in the near future.

Well used to be a member here, a very short course, not kept in good condition. Some interesting holes with a fair bit of water. Members and people in proshop aren't very nice, wouldnt really recommend this course.

Jindalee Golf Course is a good course for the beginner golfer and someone who needs to learn how to hit over water. On 5 holes water comes into severe play. The water is right in front of the tee. The cost for 9 holes is $9.90 and 18 is $15.00.
