The Kew Golf Club is one of Melbournes finest golf courses. The Championship Par 72 layout of 6173 metres is a great test to all standards of players. Situated only 15 minutes from the city, the course meanders along the Yarra River providing a beautiful vista and is home for 100s of species of native birds. The course itself is currently home of the Victorian PGA Championship, (held in October) which forms part of the Australasian PGA Tour.

Have been a member there since December ’10. This courses’ reputation precedes it, in terms of both course quality and member quality. Funnily enough, they are quite the opposite.
The course design is good enough, offering various options both off the tee and on approaches, but nothing to write home about. As far as course conditioning goes, this course is that of a low quality public course in Cambodia. The fairways are dead, the tee boxes are dead, the greens…don’t get me started, and the bunkers…you’d get more consistancy from a poker machine. I think perhaps the most admirable aspect of ’The Kew’ is that the best green on the course is the chipping green down the bottom of the path AHAHAHAH
_The members are all great (for the most part). The worst part of them is that they don’t repair divots. It’s absolutely disgusting.
GAHHHHH im getting too angry thinking about how I pay $4000 to walk through the gates here, and thats even before i get to play a game here.
’NOUGH said.
