As a member here I take pride in course, but I have to agree it has in recent times erred on side of difficulty rather than quality. Still love the place but I belong to a body of members that wish Peter Thomson have never been let near it.

I do also agree with the comment of right to left shots, I also find this difficult, but to be fair this is more a problem with me than the course.

Knock it to many right left holes, but otherwise brilliant the facilities great and so was the course. The par 3 8th at 200 mtrs over water was superb and the 430mtr 18th no walk in the park. A few short par 4's long ones and lots of hills plus fast greens makes for fun golf.

Very tough, marvelous condition and as posh as you will ever see but I must admit the course was a little disappointing. Too steep and too many right to left holes.

A great challenge no doubt but I had expected it to be better.
