I liked Latrobe because it offers good grass coverage on the fairways and the greens are of quality.
The pro shop staff were very helpful. and the club may be a little tired but the staff friendly.
Only 10 kms. from the CBD. fair pricing.

Disappointing compared to what high reviews I had heard a long way off the standard of the sandbelt course. Better than your average public course

This is a great course! It is much like the old courses on the US east coast. Plush fairways and good rough. The greens are immaculate and put true. I had many ’one-puts’! The pros and members are very freindly, to bad the clubhouse is very ugly.

La Trobe is a great course it has true greens and very lush fairways whick is great for the pro or the average hacker. It practise facilitys and the pro shop is well stocked and the members and workers are very friendly. A tip be ready to play golf by the 1st hole because it is a tough opener.

Latrobe is the closest private golf course to the CBD and is an excellent challenge of golf for all players.

The course is a tight, tree lined, clay based course with quick but true greens.

Enough water hazards are present to give all players that extra challenge.

Overall a very pleasant experience, not too hilly and with enough trees to provide shade on the hotter days.
