From native grasses to soaring pines and moss-draped oaks, each of Belfair’s courses has its own distinctive style. The courses begin and end at the Clubhouse and traverse the banks of the Colleton River and marshland. Offering five tee boxes, they are guaranteed to challenge golfers of all levels.
The 18-hole East Course, reminiscent of the links courses of Scotland, showcases deep-water views, open windswept fairway and fresh water lakes and lagoons. This par-71 course measures 6,959 yards from the championship tees. The East Course is very walkable. The routing plan and configuration form a close connection between holes.
In 1999, the Fazio design team capitalised on the natural differences of this site by unveiling the contrasting, yet complementing, East Course. The course features distinct vegetation and a number of lakes and ponds to create elevation relief, contouring changes and separation of holes.
