I feel compelled to write my first review in quite sometime after visiting here last week.

I’ve played Shep a number of times over the last few years as have family up there. But I have never seen it in the condition I saw it last weekend.

Simply impeccable. The fairways were almost perfect, greens rolled true. They’d even cleared out a bit of the rough to help find balls and speed up play.

They only thing that stops this getting another half a star was perhaps the sand in the bunkers. I didn’t have too much trouble with it, but others in my group found them very inconsistent in depth and consistency. Not a deal break though.

All in all, it’s up there and comparable to those further up the road on the Murray. Shepp should be very proud of it.

Really good golf course with each hole being a different test to the last.

If you dont like bunkers though this place has plenty but they are kept in good condition. This gives you confidence to play shots out of them. Greens were a touch slow the day I played but this isnt the worst thing in thing in the world in the middle of summer. Most likley good green keeping to help store moisture during summer even though its been wet it may not stay that way.

had a lot of issues with golfshot on my iphone but this isnt their fault

Staff were friendly and welcoming. Ill be back.

Best golf course I’ve ever played on. Fantastic Fairways, excellent Greens and Nice people! The accommodation is great would play there all the time if I could.

jus want 2 to change my review to 4 stars. fairways r in great condition now as is the rest of the course. if in the area would recommend a hit there!

Best course in the Goulburn Valley, Survived the drought well and currently in excellent condition. A challenging course with the tree lined fairways and bunkers. Excellent on course accomodation and facilities make it a must play if in the area.

Best course in the area not including the murray masterpeices! Good layout with a good mixture of holes for the tree lined fairways and at times underlating. Wouldnt rate there fairways the best but that cant be helped with the dry condidtions. Course would be now famous from where jarrod lyle started out!

I remember playing here some years ago while on a golfing holiday on the Murray. Not a bad course but not up the the standard of Cobram-Barooga or Yarrawonga.

Agree this is quite good for a country course, but in being consistent it's a step down from even the better Murray courses.

A good layout with a good mix of challenges.

No complaints and happy to play anytime. The finish of the course just doesn't quite get it into the top ranks.

I saw Kingston Heath rated at 5 stars I don't think the previous ''review'' of 5 stars is fair. Definately not 5 stars. Nice course, nice layout. Not a course I would like to walk constantly.

Situated 5kms from the center of the city of Shepparton just two hours from Melbourne, the Shepparton Golf Club truly meets it's reputation for hospitality and a challenging course of the the highest standard.

Visitors are made most welcome in the relaxed country atmosphere, the fairways are uncrowded and the green fees are moderate.

Next time travelling to the Murray River courses make a stop at Shepparton for a great golfing experience.
