The Tanunda Pines Golf Course is a challenging 70-year-old, authentic Australian bushland course of excellent character that boasts fairways lined with spectacular ancient gum trees. The undulating 18 hole par 72 course is situated on the hilltops above the Barossa Valley with views to hills and over Jacob’s Creek vineyards on several holes.
An excellent country clubhouse, bar/cafe, specialist wine room, fully stocked golf shop and practice fairway with target greens add to this magnificent facility.

This is a typical resort style course, with good couch fairways and bent greens. There are some hills, but it is a relatively easy walk. Green fees of $40 are reasonable and it is well worth playing if you are in the area. Whilst the greens are in good condition they are a little slower than you would expect. Make sure you take plenty of water as there is only one place (at the 9th tee) to refill.
