Given that iseekgolf had completely stuffed up our booking the staff at Royal Pines could not have been more helpful in trying to honour the booking we thought we had and getting us out on course. The course itself is fantastic, one of the best I've ever played on.

Played a round in the middle of the day on a Thursday to be queuing on every tee box on the front nine. By the time we hit the back nine we were queuing 4 back. No marshals or drinks cart on the course and half of the greens were fast with the other half covered in sand. For $100 you would expect the course to be inline with Hope Island or Lakelands but it is far from it. I've played here a couple of time but definitely wont be back. Regardless of the course condition, there is no excuse to be so backed up in the middle of the week on a 27 hole course.

Played Royal Pines 20th June 2015. Please please do not waste your money we played the front nine of the "championship" course and the other nine over the road $105 jesus of nazareth. How this course is used for the PGA event is absolutely astounding. It really is an average resort golf course there are about 100 better courses in Queensland alone... Brookwater, Glades, Hope Island etc etc. Greens were average, condition of the course was poor, some holes had bunkers out of play. If you want to play a good golf course on the Gold Coast DO NOT PLAY ROYAL PINES

Would never pay to play here again to be honest. The pace of play was disgusting with the course management doing nothing to resolve the issues. It seems they're only interested in getting as many people in and collecting money. On the second tee we had 6 different groups waiting to tee off including the people on the tee box. The course was nice sure, but not worth the money and I won't be back.

Booked through Iseek to have first tee time of day only to arrive and find that there were 3 groups in front of us they had double booked. The new green 9 was challenging with bunker placements. No drink cart for the entire 18 holes. Needs the second stage redevelpoment to be completed before I would come back as the contrast between the green and blue nine is too much at present.

Arrived on time, No spot available as starter had let 20 beginner golfers go off early and there was a shotgun start on the other holes! I took a rain check for two days, came back. Of the three Gold Coast courses I played this trip, this was a distant third! Sanctuary Cove and The Glades could not fault the service or the courses, Royal Pines is scruffy in appearance, the first nine (blue course)fast true greens, back nine(Green course)Very Slow greens hadn't seen a mower for days, Bermuda greens grow fast! No GPS in carts and tiny, unreadable map on the back of the card, strange card layout also? Too expensive for the product provided, loads of better offers on the GC.
