Extensive consumer research on the playability of the Apex Edge Pro revealed that in addition to better players, a high percentage of mid and high handicappers who tested the club also preferred Apex Edge Pro over the current premium game-improvement irons in their bag. Results from hundreds of 18-hole play tests showed consumers with a wide range of ability levels, from 0 to 18 handicap, preferred the feel, appearance, and overall performance of the Apex Edge Pro by more than a 2-to-1 margin over the leading brands.

The Apex Edge Pro is made from a one-piece forged 1025 carbon steel construction for soft, responsive feel and the clubhead shape and style is traditional with thinner top line for a cleaner look at address. The Muscleback Cavity design featues a Progressive Face Thickness and provides variable center of gravity for better playability.
A higher launch on high irons and more control on short irons.

having tried, and put in my bag, a various array of irons from the callaway x14 pros to the mizuno mp33's i have finally found a set that i am stoked on. i have had these irons in my bag 4 about 2 and a half yrs. these will stay 4 a long time. i love the thicker top line and the work ability of them. definately give them ago, you wont be disapointed. soft yet long...

always thought it would have to be something special to knock the Revo Mids from my bag, and these AEPs are gold.

There is no "jump" in distance, so after you've dialled in your distanc for each club, that's it...no surprises.

Which took me a while to get used to, but I don't care if I'm taking one club more into the green...it's being on the green in regulation that matters more!!!

Love the long irons...esp the 3...it just goes low and hard...

Great Buy...

don't let the slightly thickish top line put you off...it's nothing!!!

These clubs are one of the most beautiful looking clubs on the market. They are not for the high marker however as a mis hit shot will soon tell you. A well hit shot feels great with the forged head and flies on a nice trajectory, a miss hit flies considerably less in another direction. Clubs feel slightly heavy compared to my Pings with less loft and requires some swing adjustment. A great set of irons when you are playing well and hitting the ball cleanly. Be prepared for those erratic shots and don't blame the club. Can be purchased at a good price preowned. The good player will be rewarded. Grips very tacky, glove is needed.
