Initially i was sceptical about the driver being a fake but now i'm not so sure.

I just played my first round with it (without any practice i might add) and i found myself outdriving others in my group. Although this sounds great, there was a downside. I ended up looking for my ball in the rough more times than i apreciated.

With my old club (a budget driver called Nitro, steel shaft) was acurate but not long.

After the round of golf with my new pet waiting to be tammed, i decided to stay back and hit some balls at the driving range.

My Nike 450cc has a stiff flex shaft which obviously took some getting used to. Making the switch to this club took some adjustment. I moved the ball forward (to off my front foot), used a "K" shape posture with a new grip.

After belting out about 100 balls I am happy to say that i just bought my first big name, big performing driver.

On miss hits the ball still carried 200 metres. (mind you out of approx 100 balls, i hit about 10 mishits. Proof that the cliub does have a big sweet spot). As for the other 90 or so balls? Well, there were a couple of draws and slices (as i worked on my changes) however i found that the majority found their target.

Ohh, and it does make a sound that lets you know you have hit it. This attracted the attention of some of the other members. They had a few shots and seemed impressed.

This club is proving to be a good buy. I'd be interested to hear stories of other Nike 450cc (9degree loft) owners.
