Nike Ignite 460 (Drivers)

Nike | Drivers | User Rating: Rate-4 (4.0) | Add A Review

The Ignite driver is the result of the right combination of design, construction and material and Nike Golf’s quest to reach peak distance and forgiveness in a club intended for the broadest audience of golfers.

By combining a thinner, lighter, stronger metal, or NexTi, with a unique club head design that expands the effective hitting area, or Around the Crown construction, in a larger club head, Nike Golf is treating golfers to a driver that attains and maintains peak distance and forgiveness performance.

The 460cc model is available in 8.5-degree (X/S), 9.5-degree (X/S/R), 10.5-degree (S/R/A) and Lucky 13-degree (S/R/A). The left-handed 460cc is available in 9.5-degree (X/S/R) and 10.5-degree (S/R/A).

I bought this club on the recommendation of our club pro and have to say it was money well spent. Whilst I'm not a great golfer , I have managed to knock out drives of 240 to 250 metres on a regular basis, which is something I have never done with my old driver. Well worth a try, I'm glad I did.

I picked up this driver on eBay for $419 one week ago and have not looked back. I have never hit the ball as straight or as far as with this driver - I love it! Combine this club with a good ball and man, your in for some fun. The last game I played I decided to treat myself to some Titleist Pro V1s and pulled my longest drive (300M) during a game. The sound the baby produces lets other players know your coming... bright, and to the point. My best purchase to date, I would definately consider further Nike equipment.

At last a driver that has awsome performace to go with its good looks. This thing absolutely hammers the ball down the fairway with great control.I can still knock the ball 200 meters plus on off centre hits . My game has improved greatly since my purchase of this great piece of golf equipment.

What a difference a few days make... When I tried this club I thought it was ok a bit different and pretty light. I bought a 9.5 degree and really noticed the change in trajectory from my previous 10.5. My first few drives flew low and hard with the sound of the club face something really different. I've now had the club for 2 weeks (about 6-7 rounds) and I have to say its improving each round. I've gained probably 15-20mtrs and am hitting a lot more accurately than my previous TM-R580. I've needed to tee-up a bit to get the flight back and when it hits that big sweet-spot it really travels. Being reasonably new to the game (6 mths + 16 h-cap) it seems like Nike isn't quite getting the wraps it should when it comes to quality club-making. I'd reccommend this club to anyone with a good-consistent swing. I defintely think this club is nice- real nice!!
