I am a begginer golfer that has only played a handful of times. I was looking at buying my own clubs because I was playing alot more then before and was sick of crap hire clubs.
I got these irons from $1200 down to $499, the store also discounted everything else I bought…. left very happy.

I took them straight to the driving range for pratice before playing at North Lakes the next day. I found these irons very easy to hit and very forgiving saving me from some sure doomed shots.

The next day I had no troubles, all my shots got air when needed and straightness when hit properly.

I recommend these irons for anyone that wants an easy game.

PROS

  • Easy to hit, great height, very forgiving.

Cons

I bought these clubs in a sale last week and took them out for 13 holes at Wakehurst Golf Club. I have the stiff shafts (have a fast swing) and play off a handicap of approx 22. I’ve never had 3 or 4 iron as I used to have set of Hippo Hybrids which I didn’t enjoy using. Every time I stood over the 3 or 4 iron I have lots of confidence and hit most of them well.

Distance was similar to my Hippos, miss-hits were still in play (much better than hippos) the ball had a very high flight and I got impressive spin on clubs from 7 iron and upwards.

The only unusual aspect was the long irons whistled and when hit flush they made an unusual “tink”.. My game was better than usual, I hit many more greens in reg. Unfortunately my putting let me down massively!
