The Ping Rapture: What a club! I had been having all sorts of problems with my no-name driver, and didn’t feel comfortable with my friends’ Ping G2 & G5 drivers. I could still out-drive them with a club that I felt had served its time.
So I booked a lesson with my Pro, and he brought along a selection of Drivers for me to try. I sorted out my swing fairly quickly, and then tried the drivers (including the square things). They were all OK but nothing special. Then I picked up the Ping Rapture. Stiff shaft, beautiful feel, and the ball sailed away.
Of course I bought it, and I have been usig it for 12 months now. Would part with it for quids. Eight irons into a 410m par 4!! and not only long, but straight.
