The W-403AD\'s Impact Power Body construction-the face, sole and backwall-all work together which allows the entire clubhead to deform at impact. This optimum deformation allows the ball to stay on the clubface fractionally longer helping prolong the spin reducing momentum, so the golf ball launches high with low spin. This phenomenon, known as \"Recoil Theory\", was systematized by the technical staff at Srixon and applied into the technology of the W-403AD.
The thin, forged titanium clubface varies in thickness in 3 places which not only provides maximum allowable energy transfer, but produces a high COR zone that has a large diameter at its hottest reading. This high COR zone is also elliptical in shape, extending from the high toe to the low heel which is consistent with the strike patterns of all golfers.
The 420cc clubhead size of the W-403AD and the low center of gravity placement (CG) ensures an extremely high moment of inertia (MOI) for excellent stability through impact. In addition, the W-403AD features Srixon\'s unique Autoturn design in which the CG is moved progressively towards the heel as the lofts increase, making the higher lofts easier to square at impact for the slower swingers who generally favor them.
The W-403AD driver is available in right- and left-handed lofts of 8.5, 9.5, 10.5 and 11.5 degrees and is also available in ladies model at 13 degrees.

I used to hit my old driver 220 with a fade, but could miss the fairways to the right. Not good if there was OB or hazards right of the fairway. After purchasing the W403 the fade lessened and the distance went to 240-250 with a medium high ball flight with not much roll- perfect for accuracy. I now hit most fairways and this stat has seen me drop my handicap by 3 shots. You can swing easy and with tempo still get great results. Awesome driver for the mid-handicapper.

I hit my driver on the average of about 190m,being and older person and hit it reasonably straight.I borrowed a Srixon Driver from the club house and played with it over 3 roundsand found it helped my game and was getting extra distance that i needed and was very impressed with it .
So i purchased a new Srixon 403AD Driver with a 11.5 loft now im achieving hight and distance which i was never able to get before and im glad i made the change.
Its a club you enjoy to play with.

I hit my driver an average 210m during a round with reasonable accuracy however decided to see if a change of driver would add some much needed distance. Over the last 3 months I have trialled several drivers and found many to be suitable however drifted toward the Srixons (I had been so impressed with the new I-403 irons). This club feels great in your hands, not too heavy. I hit about 40 balls on the range with this club and found it to be very accurate with an average distance of 230m with the range balls. The bad shots were not dramatically wide of the aim point. I took it out for the first game yesterday - nine holes on a sloping course. Using regular golf balls I was hoping for longer distances than the driving range. My first drive (admittedly with down slope) carried 280m down the middle of the fairway. Unfortunately this was not the norm for the rest of the game as upslope had the reverse affect however on average, I was hitting 250m. I only strayed of the fairway once, when I was trying to belt that ball all the way to the hole. This is a fantastic driver

This is by far, the easiest club to hit!
The ball is so easy to get up nice and high, and very forgiving on the off center hits.
Travels on a good trajectory, with great carry and roll.
A Great Stick!
