The I-302 series features a perimeter weighted “Tour Cavity” clubhead constructed of soft 1025 forged carbon steel that is shaped by a “6x struck” forging process instead of the customary “4x struck.” That process provides more consistency to the grain and more precise shape to the club head.

Modifying the shape of the “tour back cavity” (cavity back) from the long irons through the short irons positions the centre of gravity optimally throughout the set. This allows for an easier squaring of the clubface for the long irons and the optimal penetrating trajectory on the short irons.

At address these irons look very good, thin topline, nice finish and compact head.

In regards to performance these irons match their looks. I found the irons very easy to hit and the ball flight was penetrating. The ball flight was higher than other similar irons I had hit but I was consistently 10 metres longer per club. These irons were fitted with Rifle 5.0 shafts.

In terms of feel I haven't played with irons that have felt better around the greens. Even off centre hits didn't feel too bad and any loss of distance was minimal.

I would highly recommend the i-302 irons for mid to low handicap golfers, price also makes these clubs even more attractive.
