Known for having the number one metal wood on the PGA Tour with their 300 Ti series drivers, Taylor Made has gone one step further with their newest line of drivers and clubs known as the 200 Steel series. The 200 Steel series drivers have one of the largest steel heads currently on the market. 200 series woods are constructed with the highest allowed Coefficient of Restitution or spring-like effect, ever in a steel driver, bumping it right up against the USGA’s limit

I bought an Aldila shaft but when i went to install it they noticed a dent in the club head. So the shop sent it back to TM where they crushed it. Had I known this I would not have sent this club back as they do not make anything similar(they make ballons now). The club itself is very accurate with decent distance and a very menacing sound. Ill miss this club for sure.

Picked up a new 200 steel and had the shaft swapped with jarro's Prolite 45 in S flex.

Very solid feeling driver, smaller steel head is a bit easier to handle than the big titanium balloons and the head weight gives it a very balanced feel.

Nice meaty noise at impact, not tinny or overly loud, very sweet. Excellent value club given it's distance is up there with the titanium models.

If you like a more solid feel, smaller head, but with good forgiveness and distance then it represents an excellent buy.
