The 975D shows Titleist’s commitment to making the finest clubs for the finest players. Cast in titanium, the 975D is an oversize driver designed with particular sensitivity to the preferences of top amateurs and professionals.

The flatter ball flight increases roll and total distance, and makes it easier for the skilled player to work the ball. The 975D driver has a unique hosel and thru-bore shaft design forming a stiff internal tube, which stabilizes the head for maximum energy transfer to the ball.

i bought one just after they wer released paid $750 for one previously used a titleistdci starship and for the price then it was a ripoff now u can pick em up for $120 and for that price they're good value but the stock shafts suck and the distance was pretty mediocre maybe 5m longer than my previous driver and they are not very forgiving on toe/heel shots

Got my 975 secondhand and have found it very easy to hit long and straight but not particularly forgiving for those miss hits. Still I hit the fairway 10 out of 15 times on my last outing. Happy enough with that at the moment ;)

Not as long as some but easy to hit. If the pros thought it was good enough to use, it's fine by me. Now at a low price, if you're looking for an upgrade, this is it.

I have had this driver for 3 months and would have to day that it is excellant value for money! It is a great driver that has proven its worth on the PGA Tour and Woods/Scott/Webb/Garcia/LOVE III etc etc all used this before the new modles came out. Very nice sound and solid feel, the stock Titleist UL65 shaft is the only downside as I feel that its trajectory is a little high.

If you can get this driver I would highly recommend it.
