This club is fantastic! Now you can get them for less than $100 on eBay, which is a shame for such a great club. I have 15* loft with a Titleist 4375(R-Flex) shaft. The club works really well from the rough, which makes it a great "get out of jail club" for that long Par 5. A fantastic club from the best fairway wood maker, Titleist.

Got 15° with graphite regular shaft of ebay for $160

Awesome club!!! So PURE!!!!!!!! Some say best fairway wood ever made. Got it for nothing off ebay. Great off tee or fairway. Highly recommended. Cheers

This club is for those who wan to hit a low, boring shot. If you are seeking the normal loft of a 15 degree look elsewhere. Mine has a stiff YS-6 shaft that just snapped BEFORE I hit the ball the other day. Strange, but not the clubhead's fault. I think a Ping G5 3 metal is my next club.

I have the 15° & 19° 980F FW's, and they have transformed my long game. once a very poor FW player, lacking confidence, these have been great!

Very easy to hit form the turf, with that unmistakeable solid Titleist THWACK. Ball flight is high and straight, but easy enough to draw. A bit harder to fade the ball, IMO, but not enough to be a concern to me.

I love them. If you struggle with fairway woods, do yourself a favour and give these a try. :)

I have a 980F with a R-flex stock shaft.

The 980 has a boring mid-trajactory and is a great addition to the bag as another option on the tee - even on par 5's.

The 980 is also great off the deck, as it has a wider face, as opposed to a deeper face.

Very forgiving and produces a great result when hit straight out of the centre.
