The Forged 690MB is a modern high performance muscle back forged iron. The slightly longer and deeper blade provides a sleek yet classic look, while the lower muscle position in the back and minimal progressive offset provide traditional performance with better playability.

The thin sole features moderate camber and the ideal bounce angle to make the club glide through the turf. A special sole entry angle is tooled into the forging dies to provide consistent leading edge shape and performance. Available for right and left hand with Titleist Victory Velvet Full Cord Round grips.

Well, in a word….. BRILLIANT!!! I have recently purchased a second hand set in pretty good condition. Used them for the first time and smashed my personal best at my home track. If I was on with the putter, I would’ve finished 5-6 better again. Well done titleist, your 690.mb irons are timeless.

PROS

  • For a blade they are suprisingly forgiving.
  • Well weighted
  • Traditional look adds a real confidence boost at address

A traditional looking iron. This blade is the most forgiving that I have come accross, if you are a relatively solid ball striker you will have no trouble hitting these irons. Most impressive irons I have come accross. I found best results using a 5.5 FCM rifle shaft rathers than the standard S300 shafts, however thats a personel preference. Overall this iron combines great Looks and a great feel

A classic blade with all the looks and feel, but a little less forgiving than the latest peripheral weighted irons.

I bought a set a year ago, but have now changed to x16 Callaways.

I have kept the Titlesists though, as they are indeed a classic!

I had the chance to test these irons after a mate bought some, and I can tell you, these are one of the best clubs you can buy.

These clubs are perfect for the better player, looking for a forged iron, with good workability.

These clubs are the ultimate in forged irons and can recommend them to and 12 or lower handicapper who is after the traditional forged iron, that has good workability and a really nice feel to it
