The next generation of golf ball aerodynamics arrives in the form of the revolutionary HX golf ball. Unlike any other ball on the market, the solid core, three-piece HX features a patented tubular lattice network that results in 100 percent surface area coverage. This design improves low-speed lift and reduces high-speed drag to give you a more penetrating trajectory, greater carry, more roll distance, and unsurpassed flight stability as compared to traditional dimple patterns. The HX Blue is slightly softer and spins a bit more than the HX Red, while still providing great distance off the tee.

I bought 3 dozen AA second hand balls from, ebay after looking for a cheaper alternative to the Titleist Pro V1. I had liked the HX Tour but same problem with them as the Pro V1 - cost. I think new, the HX Blue is about $10-20 cheaper a dozen new.

Anyway, the HX Blue feels just as good as the HX Tour or Pro V1. It has good distance, not overly long, it has touch and it has feel. Can spin alot and feels great off any club - drver to putter.

Highly recommended ball.

A good all round ball that is long off the tee, great for short irons into the green, they pull up quick and they have a nice feel to putt with!

Until recently i'd only ever used 'Red' versions of callaway ball lines having loved the rule 35 red and seeing so much negative opinion of the original 35 blues.

Higher spin is not ideally what i thought i wanted with my current hcap and game but on trying a few hx blues recently i really felt the difference and the spin off short irons was suberb.

cover is a bit more durable than past models which means a few more rounds beofre losing them :)

control around the green for me is important given the harder greens i play and the feel this ball have gives me improved confidence (even though more spin whilst chipping isn't the best).

A few months ago i was in the market for a new ball. I was not completely sure of what to buy. I was in Drummonds Golf Store in Albury lookingat their great range of golf balls. One of the guys suggested i tried the HX blue. I bought a sleeve and tried them when i got back to my local course. Great distance, perfect trajectory, spin from outof this world and a nice soft ball great for putting. In 2 months since playing callaway HX Blues, I have gone from 25 to a 14 marker (i had my bestround yesterday, +9). This is the best ball in the market in my opinion. I have played all balls from a titleist Pro V1° to topflite ROCK. This is the best ball.

I have played the hx blue a few times and i really loved them. Nice and soft and fly a long way. It isn't the best ball I have played but it comes very close.

Well this ball seems to have an uncontrollable desire to spin too much. It is a fun ball to use!

Trust me its soft, spins and the cover is decent.

If you want more fun in your short game and make that 30m pitch spin back, use this ball
