OK I tried pro VI's, I tried bridgestone B330, I tried Nike ones. They were all very good balls but the HX tour leaves them for dead. Why? Low spin for the driver, so if your accuracy challenged (slicer or hooker) then this ball might really help you. Distrance wise its great, it does suit the quicker to fast swing speeds though (if your'e a slower swinger try the HX hot instead). Feel wise around the greens is where this ball is better then the pro V's. From 170 meters with a hybrid in your hands you can stop it dead, so its low spin for driver but still able to spin it from the fairway. They are reasonably durable again beating the pro VI's which I found chewed up too quickly. look I buy them second hand in mint condition for 30 bucks a dozen off ebay. You cant go wrong they are a great ball. Spending a bit more on balls is the way to go than just spending bigmoney on clubs.

I have used Pro V1's and I find these balls similar. They don't spin quite as much but they spin enough. I find them definitely longer than teh Pro V1's though. Well worth the chamge if the Pro V1's arent working for you.

i was a dedicated pro v1 user and was thrown an hx tour by a fellow divy 1 pennant player.i am amazed how far these balls go.they will also stop on the greens, they are not as good as the pro v1's to chip with but overall in my humble opinion these balls are very good and i use them all the time...

I have a slow swing and do not hit the ball far, so I thought these balls were not for me, I do not like Pro V1’s but loved this ball, not sure what the difference is but I thought these were great, particular off the tee and long irons
