Titleist Scotty Cameron Red X (Putters)

Titleist | Putters | User Rating: Rate-5 (5.0) | Add A Review

The Red X putter is a clean and simple mallet with sophisticated performance features. The refined appearance properly frames the ball at address, with the center sightline located at the true sweetspot. The putter features a simple single bend shaft design with 1/4 toe hang to provide ideal toe flow throughout the putting stroke.

A light mist finish reduces any glare and the cosmetically attractive industrial machined sole plate complements the red Baby T grip and new black and red Red X headcover.

this is a great putter! has a very pure touch, much like the odysey blade style putters. I don’t generally like the mallet style but I overlooked it and it worked. I did not three put al day at the Nirwana course in Bali, one of Asia’s premier and hardest courses. A great putter, wish I had the capital to buy one though!

I used to think that the Scotty Cameron putters were an overated (expensive) toy but now that I have purchased a RedX2 (center shaft) I'm converted.

I putt cross handed and had noticed a lot of cross-handers on the various tours use mallet putters so I checked it out.

The RedX2 uses the 3 dots to align the shaft @ address to get the correct loft on the face. This produces a beautiful roll on the ball to the point where now in putting comps on the practice green the guys give me the 2 footers where as before they knew I'd miss them 'cause I put a very dodgy roll on the ball. The club feels & looks sensational at address it also feels & sounds soft when striking the ball. It isn't the 'tinny' sound either although this may also have a little bit to do with the ProV1 ball as well. Overall I have dropped my handicap from 11 to 7 in about 1mth and I can definitely attribute a large amount of the credit to the RedX2.

Very happy
