This is a great iron, plain and simple. Have used these for a couple of years, and am always tempted to rade up to a bigger name brand, but thee performance of these clubs is very hard to beat.

They are good looking in a simple, understated way, and athough they are very large, don't have an extremely thick top line at address.

They are hugely forgiving, and love to make the ball go high and straight where you hit it. Mishits are still straight and don't lose much distance.

While targeted at the high handicapper, they are also usable for the better golfer who just wants an easy to hit, forgiving iron, and are also great value for money.

My only dislike is the big offset which makes the ball want to go a bit too left at times.

People think TopFlite...and rockball in the same thought too often and granted that's fair. :)

There XL2000 irons are a seriously understated and excellent performing package for the higher hcapper, pure game improvement cavity back.

The titan steel (heat treated 17-7 apparently) might be a gimmick but they are very durable in the face and the ball really does come nicely off them, zips off and with a soft feel sans mishits.

The diamond relief sole also does what it promises reducing turf drag and actually allows you to lay open the PW very easily as it has heel relief. I was surprised to find i could do nice cut/lob style shots due to this deisgn feature...interesting and effective!

The stock steel shaft is a bit lowend from true temper, but overall performs OK for a stock shaft and is easily upgraded.

The topflite velvet grips are a bit wanting, i don't like velvet feel much and would prefer cord, all options are available on new purchase, but there's not many places out there you can get them. Best buy from ebay and get them adjusted.

Performance wise, they are the perfect game improvement club and a very strong performer in terms of feel, ball flight and forgiveness, check them out.
