The Deep Red II's are great - look good, feel solid and far more forgiving than my previous set of 15 yrs, plus they give an additional bonus of an extra 10 metres plus per club (makes the first few rounds tough though)!

I'm in the army and after trying a friend's Wilson Fat Shat driver for a while decided to buy the complete Deep Red II set when I returned from an overseas deployment. That was June 2004 and my handicap has come down from 23 to 15. I find all the fat shafts extremely forgiving in that they reduce unwanted draw or fade significantly. Suffice to say I am extremely pleased with my clubs and now feel confident I can play most holes in regulation ... providing my concentration is good.

After doing some online research, I decided to give the Deep Red II distance irons a go. Being a University Student and a tightarse...these irons represented top value for money. A slightly oversized head and their large sweet spot has allowed me to get 5-7 extra metres on my shots. Their slight offset as well as the MDS insert does actually give a long, straight and high ball flight. A great value Iron can't recommend them highly enough!

P/s At address, their high gloss finish also looks damn sexy (for all the aesthetically discerning golfers out there)
