The Yes! C-Groove Victoria Putter is a mallet style and has been around since 2001/2. It has a cavity back head and 2.5 degrees of loft.
I was particularly interested in Yes! putters as my golf coach trains the “Harold Swash” method of putting and Harold is the designer behind C Groove. I had been using a 20yo Taylor Made putter without setting the world on fire on the greens. Even though I was using the Swash method with this putter and my putting had improved my ball roll was not as predictable as I wanted.
So I tried the Yes! Victoria as I liked the look of it and the weight felt good (heavier than the TM putter). After a couple of putts on the course in a match with my pro the results were great. Much better ball roll and not leaving putts short. The extra weight of the putter head meant I used less force to get the ball moving and this seemed to help the club face stay on track.
This putter is also very good just off the green where I would usually use an iron. An added bonus is that I can now pick a ball up from the green without bending over my aging back!
